Steve’s Blog – Pro Digest Week 15
Last week, we discussed about dealing with interruptions and turning off the notification for new incoming emails and we also recommended to do a quick email check often as is needed.
Another type of interruption is when somebody calls you and is requesting your immediate involvement. We recommend you make a decision immediately that if it’s possible or not to fully address their issue (s) at this time. If so, then just do it. If not, use your electronic calendar’s meeting request feature to schedule a nearby date and time to remediate their issue (s). I can not overstate the benefit or simplicity by which you are able to fulfill your customer’s needs by properly allocating a date and time to address. This tip in itself if it is used consistently will save you much time and effort.
