Regarding the importance of updating apps, we strongly recommend you uninstall apps that are not important to your business.  We recommend this for several reasons including:

• Can slow down your device.
• Can be a distraction.
• Takes up storage from your more important apps and/or files you want to store on your device.

A special note to Android Users, be even more careful with the apps you download and/or keep on your device:
Over 75% of Android apps are secretly tracking users. Yale Privacy Lab has discovered hidden trackers in hundreds of popular Android apps that send app manufacturers your location, activity, and other personal info.

We recommend keeping your smartphone and tablet as free from un-needed apps (AKA distractions) as possible.
