How to Limit Entries in a Cell to Numeric Values Only (Excel 2010/2007)

If you have a worksheet that requires that a column or row only contain numeric values, you can limit the entry in the cell using Data Validation. This will prevent anyone from entering text or dates or any other type of data other than a number.
