You can change a setting that will allow Siri to read e-mail messages to you. You will have to turn on "Speak Selection" in the Accessibility section of Settings. This is NOT an entirely hands-free operation, it should not be performed while driving! This video is shown using iOS 6, but it works the same in iOS 7. New video for iOS 7 coming soon!
