How to Access Recently Used Apps to Close or Reopen the App (Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich)

There is a new way to access recently used applications in Android 4.0. Some newer phone models actually have a “Recent Apps” button which is the button on the far right at the bottom of the screen. If you have an older model Android phone, you can long press the Home button to access recently used apps. This will allow you to quickly reopen an app or close the app. Closing any apps that you are not using, but are running in the background, will help prolong the battery charge
