With Word 2013 you can now open any PDF file and edit it as a word document. You can then save it as a Word document or save it as a PDF with the changes. Depending on the size of the PDF, it may take a few minutes to open in Microsoft Word. There are some PDF's you will not be able to edit, but you won't be able to tell until you go through the process of opening the PDF in Word 2013. This feature is new to Microsoft Word 2013 and is not available in earlier versions of Word.
Usually when you respond to a Meeting Request in Outlook, the request is deleted from your Inbox. In some cases this is not happening. You can check one quick setting to fix this issue. This will work the same in Outlook 2013, Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2007.
If you view e-mail on a smart phone and you use Outlook, you may find yourself deleting the same e-mails more than once. One option is to set Outlook to send/receive less often. This means when you are out of the office and you delete an e-mail on your smart phone, you won’t have to delete the same e-mail in Outlook as often.
Sometimes you may receive an e-mail that is in plain text format in Outlook. When you open the e-mail many of the features in the Ribbon are disabled. You can enable these features by converting the e-mail into HTML format. This will come in handy when you need to reply/forward this e-mail and you want to include a hyperlink, an image, change the font color, etc.
