You can save e-mails in your "Documents" (or "My Documents") folder instead of taking up valuable space in Outlook. The less you store in Outlook, the more efficient it runs. Sometimes it is necessary to save an e-mail or group of e-mails so that you have them if you need them in the future. You can store these e-mails in your ‘Documents’ folder and free up much needed space in Outlook. You can save an e-mail only, an e-mail with attachments, or multiple e-mails (with or without attachments). This video pertains to Outlook 2003 & 2007 only.
