How to Turn Off “In Cell Editing” in Outlook (Outlook 2013/2010/2007)

You may have turned on “In Cell Editing” in Outlook and don’t even remember doing it. This would allow you to edit the subject line in an e-mail message while looking at your Inbox (and not even opening the message). This can cause you to inadvertently loose the subject line altogether, which can be a problem. You may want to turn off “In Cell Editing” to prevent this from happening.

Convert Plain Text e-mail to HTML Format (Outlook 2013)

Sometimes you may receive an e-mail that is in plain text format in Outlook. When you open the e-mail many of the features in the Ribbon are disabled. You can enable these features by converting the e-mail into HTML format.
