How to Disable “Pointing Stick” on a Laptop

On some laptops there is a button in the center of the keyboard (between G, H, and B keys). This button or nub can be used in place of a mouse or touchpad. If you accidentally hit it while typing, it may be beneficial for you to turn it off if you do not wish to use it. The instructions may not be exactly the same on all laptops, but this tutorial will point you in the right direction. In this example we are using a Dell laptop running Windows 7.

How to Change the Case of Text in a Worksheet (Excel 2010/2007/2003)

Sometimes it may be necessary to change the case of certain text in an Excel Worksheet. This can be changed to all lower case, all upper case and proper case with the first letter capitalized. In this example we will take data entered into a worksheet by multiple individuals that is in different cases and covert the text into the same case. This works in Excel 2010, Excel 2007, Excel 2003. The formula will work the same for all cases, you will just need to use one of the following: =LOWER =UPPER =PROPER

These suggestions are possible matches from a list of names and e-mail addresses from the e-mail messages you have received/sent. You may want to import this list if you want to use Outlook on a new computer. The first part of this tutorial will show you how to locate and copy the current file on your computer. The second part will show you how to import it into Outlook on the new computer. This procedure also works the same for Windows Vista.
