How to Use the Dictation Feature on iPad

You can use your voice to dictate text on the iPad. Dictation is available in any app that has a keyboard. You must say the punctuation while saying your sentence/paragraph when dictating text. Using dictation to compose e-mails and text messages can be a great time saver! If you have an older iPad (iPad 1 or iPad 2), dictation is not available.
